Here are some feature photos I have taken. The video slideshows I have attached contain images that were taken over the summer while I was in Japan. The first one showcases the beautiful statues and red gates (known as tori gates in Japan) that are found at the Fushimi Inari Shrine located in Kyoto, Japan. The second slideshow showcases the Hasedera Temple, which is located in Kamakura, Japan. It is known for the breathtaking views, beautiful hydrangeas and statues dedicated to mothers who have lost children.
The gallery shown features some of my favorite pictures I have taken of Texas State University. Many of them feature the Mass Communications and School of Journalism building. This building is named Old Main and was the first building at Texas State University. You can also find a picture of the TXST Theatre building. It is surrounded by a moat that contains lots of aquatic life such as fish, turtles and ducks.
I have had the opportunity to create two very unique interview videos. The first interview is of Gilbert Martinez. He is the academic program director for the SJMC Japan Program that I took part in during summer 2019. I interviewed him about the program and what students can expect upon joining it. The second interview is unique because it is an interview of myself. It was recorded and edited during COVID-19 when we were under a “Stay-At-Home” order.
The last video sample included is one that I created with the footage I had taken while abroad in Japan. It is edited in chronological order to help give you the experiences I had while abroad.
